Meet the Staff
Norm Ormiston, President/CEO
Norm Ormiston joined Grapeland State Bank in September 2004 following 16 years
of service as Executive Vice President at the First State Bank of Brownsboro,
TX. Norm graduated from Sullivan High School in Indiana and earned his B.S. in
Finance at Murray State University in Kentucky. Norm is married to Alice and
they have raised 4 children. Both are avid golfers and can generally be found on
a golf course whenever time allows.
Davy R. Hobson, Senior Vice-President
Davy R. Hobson came to Grapeland State Bank June 2, 2008. He has been a resident
of Grapeland since 1982. He is the son of the late Davy J. Hobson and Martha
Hobson who were school teachers at Grapeland High School for a number of years.
Davy is a graduate of Grapeland High School and a member of the 1985 Grapeland
State Championship basketball team. He went on to graduate from Letourneau
University of Longview with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Davy is
married to Grapeland native, Leah (Daniels) Hobson and is the father of three.
Davy has twelve years of banking/credit union experience, seven years of retail
experience and eighteen years pastoral experience.
Suzanne Fehrle, Vice President of
Operations / Cashier
Suzanne, a native of Grapeland, has two
daughters that are the light of her life. Suzanne worked in the
family LP Gas business from 1981 to 1998. She then worked at First State Bank as
a teller from 1998 to 2003. In July of 2003, Suzanne came to Grapeland State
Bank as Cashier. In December 2008 Suzanne was promoted to Vice President of
Operations.
